Cinnamon Jaggery Glazed Nuts

Cinnamon Jaggery Glazed Nuts

Not only do these nuts make your home smell delicious and perfectly holiday-ready, but they're super simple to make and serve. We like to cut them up and mix them into our morning oatmeal or pair them with an Old Fashioned for a cozy happy hour by the fire. They also make a beautiful, thoughtful and tasty gift wrapped in some festive paper and tied with a bow.

You'll Need:

1 c. raw mixed nuts (we used 1/4 c. almonds, 1/4 c. walnuts and 1/2 c. pecans)

3 tbsp. unsalted butter

3 tbsp. Down the Road Spice Co. Cinnamon Jaggery

Preparation:

  1. Melt butter on stove on medium heat.
  2. Add nuts and roast for 3-4 minutes, or until the nuts start to slightly soften and are fragrant.
  3. Transfer nuts into a large mixing bowl and immediately toss with Cinnamon Jaggery (the nuts should still be warm so the jaggery sticks).
  4. Serve and enjoy!
